WHO WE ARE
The Mr. 6 Foundation is a non-profit society registered under the British Columbia Societies Act, based in Vancouver, Canada, and run by volunteers. It is free, and it never charges the companies it writes about.
What we do
We write independent articles about startups around the world, often about how they use AI, and about the people who build the places those startups come from. Each article is published openly and free on mr6.foundation.
We also connect founders with people who can help them grow, especially investors, customers and partners in North America. Introductions are made by people, with everyone's name attached.
What it costs
Nothing. Articles and introductions are free. Companies we write about are never charged: no application fee, no listing fee, no membership, no equity and no success fee. A place in an article cannot be bought. Some organisations sponsor our work, and sponsorship never influences who we write about or what we say.
How an article is made
We talk to the founder or read the company's own material, and write the article. Before anything is public, the company receives a private link to the draft and can correct it or approve it. We publish once they approve, or, if they do not reply, after about a week. After that they can still ask for corrections or removal at any time.

Our founder, a Vancouver writer, software engineer and entrepreneur known as Mr. 6, together with a team of volunteers in Vancouver and around the world.
Why did the Foundation contact my company?
Because we write about startups and the people who build startup ecosystems before the wider market has found them. You never pay anything, and you see the article and can correct it before it is published.
Can I correct or remove an article about my company?
Yes, at any time. Reply to the email we sent you, write to hello@mr6.foundation, or use the short form at the bottom of the article.
Is it a registered charity?
No. It is a non-profit society, not a registered charity, so it cannot issue tax receipts.
