Multicultural International Startup Showcase
MISS 100
One hundred founders, investors and builders who should already have met, put together in twelve open cohorts across 2027 and published as issues anyone can read without an account.
NOT A COMPETITION.
NOT A CLOSED ROOM.
AN OPEN ISSUE.
An incubator assembles a cohort and puts it behind a door. We assemble one and publish it. There is no prize, no winner and no scoreboard. The people in a cohort are not competing. They are there because they are useful to each other.
What each one gets is an entry in the open record: what they actually do, who pays them, what they need next, and the question the whole thing turns on: why has nobody connected this yet?
EVERY MONTH,
A COHORT.
MISS-1 through MISS-12 are not twelve events. They are twelve cohorts, one a month, each mixing startups, investors and AI builders across markets, and the year adds up to a hundred entries in the open record.
Naming
Connectors tell us who is being left out of the room inside their own communities and languages. Anyone can name someone, including themselves.
The cohort
The month's group is assembled: startups, investors and AI builders, mixed across markets on purpose. Everyone is credited to whoever named them.
Conversations
We sit down with the cohort one at a time: what they do, who they need, and what has been in the way.
The Reading
One hour, online, open to anyone. The cohort meets each other and whoever else turns up.
Published
The whole cohort goes out as one open issue. No login, no paywall, permanent.
The format will evolve. That's rather the point.
01
Named
Anyone, any month, free. Hundreds a year, we hope. Every name read by a person.
02
In the cohort
Eight a month join the issue: who they are, where, one line, and the connector who named them. Roughly a hundred across the year.
03
Full entry
Four a month get the long conversation and the full entry. Around fifty by the end of 2027.
Being in the cohort without a full entry is not a consolation prize. Half the value of this record is the names that were written down before anybody else had them.
100 CHANCES
TO LOOK AGAIN.
001 / 100 · 99 still out there
Each cell is a person or a company, not an event. It stays dark until somebody names one we can stand behind, and then it is permanent: the entry, the conversation, and the connector who named them.
And then, what happened next? We go back. Who raised. Who found a distributor. Who found three customers and no investment. Who changed direction completely.
The archive asks what happened after we saw them.
WHAT DID
WE MISS?
MISS-1 · January 2027 is open now. Startups, investors, AI builders. Naming yourself is welcome, always free, and read by a person.
